CONSULTATION & CULTURAL TRANSLATION

Clothing is architecture worn on the body.

It protects us, expresses us, and connects us to systems far beyond the closet: agriculture, labor, manufacturing, culture, identity,
and waste.
I speak and advise on the hidden relationships between clothing, sustainability, and human behavior, helping audiences and organizations see garments, not as disposable products, but as cultural infrastructure.

Clothing is not an isolated consumer product, but part of a larger cultural and material system.

This work is emerging from years of design practice, material research, and public writing on sustainability, clothing,
and human behavior.
I welcome inquiries from organizations, educators, and event programmers interested in exploring these ideas through talks, workshops, advisory conversations, or collaborative projects.
Clothing sits at the intersection of many systems: agriculture, labor, climate, design, identity, culture, waste, and daily behavior.

Because of that, my speaking and consulting work is especially suited for audiences working across disciplines.

I’m interested in conversations that move beyond isolated solutions and ask deeper questions about how people live, what they value, and how everyday choices shape larger systems.

This work is a fit for:

  • sustainability conferences and climate-focused organizations
  • architecture and built-environment groups
  • fashion, textile, and apparel industry events
  • circular economy and waste-reduction initiatives
  • design schools, universities, and continuing education programs
  • regenerative agriculture and natural fiber organizations
  • museums, cultural institutions, and public programming teams
  • brands or organizations seeking deeper sustainability messaging
  • educators developing curriculum around clothing, consumption, and culture
  • teams exploring consumer behavior, identity, and habit change
